Dispatch
Builder’s Concrete wants to deliver the right mix whether it’s for a small sidewalk or a large commercial jobs.
Builder’s is able to deliver the right mix because our dispatchers, who are ACI Level 1 Certified Concrete Technicians, talk to every customer. They provide each customer, after the order has been entered into our computer system, a confirmation number.
Our dispatchers are located in one location and communicate with each of our production facilities. We are able to track our trucks to ensure your order is delivered on-time. Once a pour is started, our dispatchers will be committed to keeping the customer supplied with concrete. Builder’s understands that the ability of our customers to effectively schedule concrete orders is critical to productivity and efficiency.
We have a number of specialty services available to our customers. Builder’s recognizes that from time to time, work constrictions will require after-hours pours. With that in mind, we work with our customers to schedule Saturday deliveries and to provide 24-hour emergency service. Builder’s invites customers with these particular needs to contact our Dispatch Department.

Service
- Quality Service is our constant goal.
- We will always strive to be on the job at the exact scheduled time, but we will consider on-time deliveries to be 15 minutes before or after the scheduled delivery time. We are currently measuring above 90% with on-time delivery.
- Once a pour is started our dispatchers will be committed to keeping the customer supplied with concrete.
- Customers will agree to maximum quantity needed. We will be committed to delivering this volume.
- Any substantial amount over the maximum quantity will be at risk of slower service.
- All plus orders are considered 1 truck.
- Orders requested during booked time will be directed to our Dispatch Manager who will do everything possible to work the order in at an acceptable time.
After Hours or Emergency Service
- We realize that from time to time work constrictions will require after hours pours.
- We are committed to providing our customers this service.

Taking the Order
- The Dispatch Department takes all orders. Please call 317-570-6200 and they will ask you for your information.
- Outside Marion and Hamilton counties call 888-986-9294.
- Please have delivery address and directions available when you place your order. This will save you time.
- We encourage customers to place their orders 24 hours in advance.
- It is the responsibility of the order taker to encourage the customer to place future orders so we may schedule and provide on-time delivery for next day pours.
- We welcome your will call orders; however, we discourage will call orders before 8:30 am.
- If you place a will call order for delivery before 8:30 am we encourage you to confirm your order (make definite) by 3:00 pm the day prior to the delivery.
- Will calls after 8:30 am must be confirmed as definite orders 90 minutes before delivery time.
- When you place your order –whether a will call or definite – you will receive a confirmation number for your reference.
- When you call back, just refer to the confirmation. This will limit your time on the phone.
- Any will call order not confirmed 90 minutes prior to delivery will be moved to the next available time slot.
- Last minute will calls for concrete will be taken as time slots allow.
- We encourage a 90 minute notice on all Cancellations.
Fleet Maintenance
We pride ourselves in maintaining our fleet of ready mix trucks and aggregate trucks. We maintain our delivery vehicles with our own mechanics. Our maintenance department takes great pride in assuring that our equipment is on time to ensure a safe and professional experience for our customers.
Quality Control
Builder’s Concrete & Supply established the measurable standard for the State of
Builder’s is dedicated to providing concrete mixes that meet all of your strength, durability and workability needs.
Builder’s has invested in quality. Each batch plant is operated by an ACI Level 1 Certified Concrete Technician. All plants are equipped with state-of-the-art computerized batch systems that ensure that our customers get what they order.
Builder’s only uses the best materials available. All of the materials Builder’s uses meet the requirements of the State of Indiana (INDOT) and the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM).
Our concrete is monitored on a daily basis. Two fully-equipped Quality Control vehicles routinely perform in-house testing of fresh concrete. Builder’s also maintains a fully-equipped laboratory that evaluates all aspects of our concrete mixes.
By using Builder’s Concrete, you are receiving quality ready-mix produced by plants that are certified by the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA)
Safety
Builder’s Concrete & Supply boasts one of the most progressive safety and training programs in the ready-mix concrete industry. A full-time Safety Director on staff works to ensure a safe working environment at our plants, on the road or on the jobsite. A “Safety Team”, made up of volunteers from every department in the company works together to promote safety, help with plant inspections, test new safety equipment and offer suggestions on new ways for Builder’s to promote safety and training. The Safety Director is also available for pre-pour and on job consultation.
O.S.H.A., E.P.A. and D.O.T. regulations are constantly monitored, with changes and updates being passed on to the Builder’s staff and drivers.
Training is another top priority at Builder’s Concrete. All new ready-mix drivers are required to complete a four-week training program. This training consists of one week of classroom instruction covering topics such as driver safety orientation, company policies and procedures for the safe transportation and placement of ready-mix concrete. Mixer drivers are also coached in the proper assessment of jobsite conditions, as well as solving various jobsite problems. Customer relations is an area that receives top priority.
