When deciding on a concrete supplier we realize that being competitively priced is the first step, but at Builder’s Concrete we believe that the quality of the service and product is also a major part of your decision making process. We hope that some of the things we have done, and are doing, will help you in your decision as you consider who you want to partner with that can meet the standard for quality you have set for your company, and who can do the best job helping you be the best that you can be.

All Builder’s Concrete plants are NRMCA (National Ready Mix Concrete Association) certified. This means that we have trained our people and brought the standards of our operations to the level of performance that meets the certification requirements. Presently, Builder’s Concrete is the only concrete company in Indiana NRMCA certified.

All our drivers are going through the NRMCA certification process and we will soon have them all certified. This requires hours of training and testing. To date, our drivers have passed the certification testing with cumulative scores of 88.4% in all areas of service. Presently, Builder’s Concrete is the only concrete company in Indiana going through this program.

We are currently measuring above 90% with on-time delivery. We consider on-time to be within a range of 15 minutes prior to and 15 minutes after expected delivery time. This saves you money on labor and is one of the highest on-time percentage ratings in the country.

We have a Quality Control Manager who supervises two field technicians whose sole responsibility is visiting job sites to assure quality and consistency of our product.

We are involved in the MICCS (Metropolitan Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety) program and are pursuing certification.

Builder’s received the NRMCA (National Ready Mix Association) Gold Level Safety award for Excellence in Safety at three of our plants in 2009.

We pride ourselves in maintaining our trucks and plants and hold our employees to the highest standards for professional appearance, performance and behavior.

Our employees are not only asked to participate in industry associations, but take a leadership role.

We have a Safety Team comprised of employees from every department and emphasize in-house and jobsite safety utilizing input from every employee.

We provide tailored educational seminars for our customers on any concrete related issue, Quality Management Skills, meeting facilitation, and other topics.

We are involved in a number of community service activities and encourage and support our employees to independently volunteer their time serving their communities.

We have been asked to participate in two national ready mix focus groups as leaders in our industry by our suppliers.

We have been sited by a nationally known consulting engineering firm as “one of the premier suppliers of industrial floor concrete in North America.”

We have a “Concrete Store” that carries a full line of concrete products, tools, and rental equipment. We have on hand our four primary colors or we can order any custom color you select. We have our own fully integrated color dispensing machine to ensure consistency from A-Z.
